Kaiafas or Thermal Springs of Kaiafas is a spa within the municipality of Zacharo in southwestern Greece. It is located 347 km SW of Athens, 30 km SE of Pyrgos, 20 km S of Olympia, nearly 32 km N of Kyparissia and a few 90 km NW of Kalamata. The Thermal Springs of Kaiafas, is a geological formation that includes a spring where tepid to warm water emanates from deep inside the earth’s crust and flows up to the surface. The spring is found inside of a naturally formed cave inside foot of your Lapithas mountain. The river of the spring contains a very important power of sulfur compounds and is also abundant with minerals.
